AZPE/CTA members enjoy special discounted rates on auto insurance.  And best of all, members save money on their premium by getting a discount.  This discount is in addition to any other discount for qualify for.

We understand the value of a dollar, especially in these difficult financial times. We also understand that teachers need the benefits PCTA offers. So, we've tightened our belts to lower dues without lowering the benefits to our members.

Benefits of CTA membership:

• Advocacy: CTA members can call on any CTA rep or officer to be their advocate at their site or on their behalf at district level.  We are here to help.
• Representation: Our members have a voice at all district committees.  CTA representatives attend board meetings and communicate often with district personnel and the Governing Board on behalf of CTA members and their wishes and concerns.
• Liability Insurance:  CTA offers a $2 million liability policy for all members in any job related lawsuit.  This is the highest liability coverage amount offered to teachers in the state of Arizona.
• Legal Coverage:  CTA will pay for your lawyer in any job related issue.  This is regardless of the outcome of your issue.  You may choose your own lawyer or you may use our lawyer.  This is a huge benefit when an hour with a lawyer can run in the hundreds of dollars.
• Preventia: Preventia is a program through the Winsor Law Firm whereby our members receive legal help for all legal issues.  Our members receive free phone and e-mail consultations for any legal matter, reduced rates for legal issues that are more complex, and our members receive a free will. 
• Reduced Car Insurance:  Our members receive a reduced car insurance rate through Horace Mann insurance.
• Discounts: Each CTA member receives a PERKS card that gets them discounts at major stores such as Home Depot, at restaurants, and at movie theaters, among others.

Before an insured member can gain the services of an attorney, he/she must first document the problem and provide that documentation to AZPE.  Instructions will be given from the state president or executive director on how to proceed in obtaining a lawyer.
